Crossfire in the United States is where Crossfire International began. Pastor Joe served as the youth and young adult pastor for 16 years starting the first Crossfire at Judah Christian Community church. Crossfire began with one cell group in one church and steadily grew through the years, expanding into neighborhoods, high schools and colleges across central and south east Ohio. Pastor Joe began to take teams of Judah Crossfire young adult leaders on missions trips around the world. For the next six years Pastor Joe continued to be the youth and young adult pastor leading the Crossfire at Judah, as well as leading Crossfire International. Crossfire International continued to expand, and Pastor Joe continued to receive more and more invitations from Pastors around the world to come and set Crossfire up in their churches. After several years of leading both ministries Pastor Joe and Gina sensed the Lord leading them to relocate to El Salvador and lead Crossfire International from El Salvador with a special focus on Central and South America for a few years.
