“Dont be distracted! “

Intro:  What was your favorite subject when you were in school and why?

Study

  1. Mathew 28:18-20, Jude 1:23 We must understand that God has called everyone of us as Christians to evangelize and win people to Jesus, our purpose is evangelism!
    1. Prov 11:30, Gal 5:1 God is calling us to take Jesus to the world so the world can find freedom from sin and its consequences!
      1. Romans 10:13-15  Everyone of us as Christians are called to win as many people to Jesus we possibly can! We are called to reach the lost!
      2. John 10:10 The devil hates evangelism and he wants as many people as possible to go to hell, so he will do everything he possibly can to distract us from evangelism!
    2. Gal 5:7-8 The devil will distract many Christian youth and young adults from evangelism with fear, compromise, business, wrong relationships, along with many other things.
  2. John 6:29, Romans 10:14 We must remember that there is nothing more important or urgent for us as Christians to focus on than the eternal salvation of souls!
    1. Col 3:2 The devil will also try and distract churches and pastors from evangelism and winning souls by getting them to only focus on work projects or humanitarian causes!
      1. 2 Cor 5:20 Work projects, food and clothing programs are all fine, and have their place,  but they are secondary to evangelism and winning souls to Christ, they should not replace evangelism and winning souls to Christ! You can do both! Dont be distracted!
      2. Mark 16:15 The state of someones soul in heaven or hell for all of eternity is more  important than anything else! We as Christians must make evangelism our top priority!
    2. Mathew 4:19, Luke 19:10 Jesus top priority in this world was evangelism! So because we are followers of Jesus, evangelism also needs to be our top priority! We must stand firm against every distraction of the devil and win as many people to Jesus as we possibly can! #Evangelism2025!

  1. Why do you think the devil tries so hard to distract churches and Christians from evangelism and leading people to Jesus?
  2. What are some of the greatest distractions the devil will throw at Christian youth and young adults to keep them from evangelizing and winning others to Christ?
  3. Why should evangelism and leading people to Jesus Christ always be our main focus as Christians?
  4. How can we avoid every distraction the devil will throw at us to divert us from evangelism and remain focused on leading as many people as we possibly can to Christ?
