“The gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge”
Intro: What was your favorite subject when you were in school and why?
Study
- James 1:15, Rom 6:23 In all countries, all cultures, in all parts of the world the problem of sin is the same! The Bible tells us that the consequence of sin is death.
- Mark 16:15 Every one of us as Christians are called to the same purpose, to win as many people to Jesus as we possibly can! We are called to reach the world!
- Luke 24:49 After Jesus gave the disciples the great commission, He told them to wait for the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit they would need in order to fulfil the great commission. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to anoint us to reach the world!
- 1 Cor 12:8-11, Acts 28:31 God will anoint us and equip us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that we can truly be effective in evangelizing the lost and reaching the world.
- 1 Cor 12:8 Below we will discuss the first two gifts of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, the gift of wisdom and the gift of knowledge.

- 1 Cor 12:8 The gift of wisdom is supernatural revelation given to us by the Holy Spirit that helps us know exactly what we should do in whatever situation we may face.
- Hosea 4:6 There are times when we will face challenges, difficulties, and situations when we do not know what to do, or which way to go in our own wisdom. In those moments if we surrender to God the Holy Spirit will equip us with supernatural wisdom and show us exactly what we should do and which way we should go.
- 1 Cor 12:8 The gift of knowledge is when the Holy Spirit will supernaturally give you specific information about someone or something that you would have no possible way of knowing on your own.
- John 4:17-18 The gift of knowledge is when the Holy Spirit will show us unknown information about someone we are ministering to such as something that happened in their lives, a hidden sin, or a situation they are going through.
- 1 Corinthians 13:9-10 Because we are human, our wisdom and knowledge is limited, but when we operate in the Holy Spirits gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge we will know what to do, where to go, and how to minister to others! #Reachtheworld!

- Can you share a time when you were facing an extremely difficult situation and the Holy Spirit gave you supernatural wisdom and showed you exactly what you needed to do?
- Can you share a testimony of a time when the Holy Spirit gave you specific knowledge of a situation about someone that there was no way you could have ever known on your own?
- Is there a situation you are currently facing right now where you need the supernatural
wisdom of God to know what to do? If so what situation are you facing? - Why is it so necessary that we operate in the Holy Spirits gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge so that we can be effective in evangelism and in reaching the world?
