   “Crossfire International five step method of evangelism“

Intro:  If you could go to any country in the world on a mission trip, where would you go and why?

                                                                   Study

  1. Mathew 28:18-20, Jude 1:23 We must understand that God has called everyone of us as Christians to evangelize and win people to Jesus, our purpose is evangelism!
    1. Prov 11:30, Gal 5:1 God is calling us to take Jesus to the world so the world can find freedom from sin and its consequences! We are called to reach the lost!
    2. Rom 10:13-15  Many Christians know that they need to evangelize, but they are afraid, they feel they do not know what to say, and that they do not know how to evangelize.
    3. This is the reason we have developed the Crossfire International five step evangelism method, this method is an extremely effective way to evangelize on the streets, in neighborhoods, schools, universities, public locations, and in missions.
  2. Below we have listed the Crossfire International five step evangelism method to
    reach the world!:We advise you to teach this method in your church, and in your
    Crossfire cell groups, then go out on the streets to evangelize and see what God does!

 #1 Introduction: You need to be bold and go up to the people on the streets who you feel led to evangelize, introduce yourselves, and ask them their names.

 #2 Start a conversation: You then need to initiate a conversation with them    about any random subject as a way to open the door to present the Gospel.

#3 Bring Jesus into the conversation: This is the point when you share the Gospel with them. Tell them that Heaven is real, hell is real and when you accept Jesus as your Savior, you will have a better life in this world and go to Heaven, but if you do not know Christ, that you will have needless problems and struggles in this world and go to hell.

#4. Salvation: The sinners prayer (Rom 10:9, 1 John 1:9, Acts 3:19) You need to then ask them if they would rather have a better life in this world and go to Heaven, or have needless struggles and problems in this world and go to hell. If they say that they would rather have a better life and go to Heaven, then have them repeat the following sinners prayer after you: “Jesus I confess that I’m a sinner, I repent of my sins, and I accept you as my Lord and Savior, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins and for being my Savior”. Amen

#5. Follow up: Then get their contact information, and invite them to church, and to your Crossfire cell groups, be sure to follow up with them the next week.

  1. Why do you think many Christian youth and young adults are hesitant to evangelize and tell others about Jesus?
  2. Can you share a testimony of a time when you evangelized on the streets, or in a public location and you then led people through the sinners prayer? What happened?
  3. Why is it so essential that we offer to lead the people through the sinners prayer immediately after sharing Jesus with them when we are evangelizing?
  4. Who are some people you know who need to accept Jesus?  What is your plan to  share the Gospel with them, and offer to pray them through the sinners prayer

End: Pray for any who need to accept Jesus, then pray for those who want to be bold in evangelism and win as many people to Jesus as possible, then take requests.
