“ Invincible!” Lesson #1

“How to live an invincible life“

Intro: What is one of the most dangerous places you have ever been to evangelize in your life?

Study

  1. Isaiah 54:17, John 16:33 To live invincible does not mean that we will not go through  problems in this life, rather it means that God will give us victory over everything we face if we truly follow Him.
    1. Jeremiah 7:23 In order for us to live “Invincible” we must walk in obedience to Christ and avoid living in sin!
      1. Eph 4:27 When we disobey God and we live in sin, then we open the door to the devil and step out of God’s protection!
      2. Eph 4:30 We must be sure that we do not offend the Holy Spirit with secret sin and disobedience in our lives.
    2. Gen 4:7 Many youth and young adults fail to understand that obeying God and avoiding sin is absolutely essential to living a victorious and successful life in this world.
  2. Romans 8:28 God promises to work everything together for good for all who choose to obey Him and follow His commands with all their hearts.
    1. Rev 12:11 When we walk in obedience to God, then everything we have ever been through, or will go through will be a testimony that God can use for us to minister to others.
      1. Prov 3:1-2 In order for us to live an invincible live, it is essential that we obey the voice of God and avoid secret sin in our lives.
      2.  1 Thess 5:17 It is also essential that we have regular daily times of personal prayer, and of reading, studying, and memorizing the Bible.
    2. Rom 8:31, Rom 8:37-39 When we choose to obey God, follow God, and avoid sin, then nothing and no one can stop us, we can live an invincible life forever!  #Invincible!

  1. Why is it essential that we obey God and avoid sin in order to live a victorious and successful life in this world?
  2. Who has a testimony of a problem or a difficult time that you went through that turned out for good because you surrendered to God and followed him?
  3. What are some of the steps we need to take in order to live a successful, victorious, invincible Christian life in this world?
  4. Is there anyone here tonight who needs to obey God and repent of secret sin in your life so that you can live a successful, victorious, and invincible Christian life?

 

End: Pray for those who want to repent of the sin in their lives and obey God so that they can live an invincible life, then pray for any who need to accept Jesus as their Savior, and pray for any requests.
