Intro: What is your favorite musical instrument?

  1. Mark 11:23-24 A Strong Prayer life is essential for us to accomplish Gods will, and when we pray God will answer our prayers demonstrating his power.
    1. Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49 We personally receive supernatural power from the Holy Spirit to accomplish Gods will as a result of prayer.
      1. 1 Samuel 10:6-7 The Holy Spirit will work in us to change what needs to be changed so we can be filled with power to do Gods work.
      2. Phil 4:13 Through Prayer we receive power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish things we could never do in our own strength.
    2. John 15:7, Luke 9:23 When our personal lives honor God, and we submit to Gods will, then we will see God answer many of our Prayers.
  2. Daniel 10:12, James 5:16 When we pray our Prayers go up to God, everyone of our Prayers are heard by God, and he will answer our prayers in his Power.
    1. Isaiah 55:8 God doesn’t answer our Prayers when we want, or how we want, but God answers every Prayer in the way that he knows is best.
      1. 2 Cor 10:3-5 We live in a spiritual world, the greatest and most effective weapon we have against satan is our Prayers.
      2. Mt 19:26 Many times in life we will face situations that seem like impossibilities, in these times God wants us to turn to him in prayer.
    2. 2 Chron 7:14 When we humble ourselves and turn to God in Prayer, God promises to hear our Prayers, and move in Great power.

  1. Who can share a time when, because of prayer God anointed you to do something you could have never done in your own strength?
  2. What are some areas in your personal life that have been changed by the power of the Holy Spirit?
  3. Who can share an example of a time when God did not answer a Prayer the way you thought he should, and in the end you saw why.
  4. What are some examples of impossibilities that God can change by his power when we pray?
