Intro: What is your favorite thing to do when you have a free day?

  1. Mt 24:36, Mk 13:32-33 Although some will see the signs that the end is near, none of us know when the end will come.
    1. James 4:14 The same is true with life in general, none of us know how much time we have here on earth, tomorrow is not promised to us.
      1. Josh 24:15 The time we have been given on earth is a gift from God, and we must choose what to do with the time we have.
      2. 1 Cor 1:18, Mt 7:13-14 We can choose either to follow the narrow road of salvation and Godliness or the wide road of sin.
    2. James 1:15, Prov 7:21-23 People all around us are tricked into the wide road of sin, not realizing the price is death, and eternity in hell.
  2. Rom 10:9-10, 2 Cor 6:17 The most important thing we can do with our time is to make sure we have personally accepted Christ, and we are living for God.
    1. John 8:44, 2 Cor 11:14 Satan’s greatest goal is to lie, and trick people into living in sin, and to never accept Christ.
      1. Gal 5:7 For those who do accept Christ, satan wants to distract us from focusing on evangelism, and pulling others out of the fire.
      2. Jude 1:23 Gods purpose for us is to spend our time sharing Christ with as many people as we can, this is what we should do with our time.
    2. Prov 27:1, Rom 10:13-15 We don’t know how long we have on earth, but we know what our purpose is, so lets use our gifts to reach this generation.

  1. Why do you feel so many people are deceived into spending their time living in sin? Why do you feel its so hard for them to see the truth?
  2. Why do you think there are many who accept Christ, but who become distracted from pulling others around them out of the fire?
  3. Do you feel you are on the wide road, or on the narrow road? please explain.
  4. How are you personally using your time? in what ways can you spend more of your time in evangelism, and pulling others out of the fire?
