Unstoppable Lesson # 7

“ Unstoppable in Evangelism “

Intro: Where were you when you first heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ ?

Study

  1. Gal 5:7-8, Phil 1:13 It is Gods will that when we become Christians that we grow, become strong in God, remain on-fire for God, and become unstoppable!
    1. Matt 5:14, John 8:12 God has called everyone of us as Christians to be lights in this dark world, active in sharing our faith with those around us who do not know God!
      1. Luke 9:26 There are many youth and young adults who know they are supposed to evangelize and share Christ with others, but they remain silent!
      2. Romans 10:13-15, Col 1:10 We have been placed in this world by God to impact the world around us with the gospel, so when we are active in evangelism and in the ministry we will grow and become stronger in our faith and in our leadership.
    2. Luke 12:8-9 However when we remain silent and are afraid to share Christ with others, we become stagnant in our faith, and tend to fall into sin and we backslide much easier.
  2. Mark 16:15-18, Acts 1:8 God is calling us to leave the comfortable 4 walls of the church and go out in the streets, into dangerous neighborhoods, into our schools, and into other nations and fearlessly share Christ with others!
    1. Matt 14: 27-32 Peter stepped out of the boat, out of what was comfortable and into what was difficult and God met him there.
      1. Jude 1:23 We also need to be willing to face our fears, step out of our comfort zones and be willing to go to where ever God leads us and share Christ with others.
      2. John 10:10 We must understand that the devil wants to stop us from sharing Christ with others because he does not want anyone else to accept Christ and go to heaven!
    2. Romans 1:16, 2 Cor 5:20 However when we confront our fears and excuses and step out in evangelism and trust that God will meet us there then we will see people accept Christ and we will truly become #Unstoppable!

Discussion

  1. What are some of the main reasons you feel many youth and young adults remain silent and do not share their faith with others?
  2. Can you share a testimony of a time when you personally shared Christ with someone and led them through the sinners prayer? How did that experience impact you?
  3. Why do you think we as Christians grow in our faith when we share Christ with others, but we become stagnant and tend to backslide when we remain silent about our faith?
  4. What are some of the areas you personally know where there is a need for evangelism and for people to hear about Christ? What is your plan to reach out into those areas?

End: Pray for those who need to overcome fear of evangelism , then pray for any who need to accept Christ or rededicate their lives to Christ, then take requests.
