“Victorious!” Lesson #2

  “ Living Victorious!  “

Intro:  If you could visit any place in the world, where would you like to go and why?


  1. 1 Cor 15:57, Psalms 108:13  God desires for everyone of us to be victorious in all areas of our lives and in the purpose that he has for us here in this world.
    1. 1 John 5:4  One of the main areas where God wants us to be victorious is in our personal lives.
      1. James 4:7 The devil will try and hold us back from discovering our purpose and becoming all God wants us to become by creating problems in our personal lives.
      2. Gal 5:7-8 Many Christian youth struggle with some type of a reoccurring sin or addiction that holds them back from becoming who God wants them to be.
      3. 1 Cor 15:33 There are many youth who struggle to remain strong and fulfill Gods plan because they can’t seem to break free from wrong relationships, while there are others who are held back because they struggle with self confidence, feeling insecure, or fear.
  2. 2 Cor 5:17, Matt 19:26 The good news is that through Christ each of us can have victory in our personal lives over any and everything that the devil will try to use to hold us back.
    1. Psalms 119:9 The bible lays out for us a plan to victory in our personal lives and if we obey and put into practice what the bible teaches us then we will be victorious!!!
      1. 1 John 1:9  Personal victory begins with true repentance and continues with making firm decisions to get rid of every negative influence and end every wrong friendship or dating relationship.
      2. Heb 10:25  Victory in our personal lives continues with developing accountability with our pastors and spiritual authorities, reading the bible, praying, and spending our time developing our leadership, being active in evangelism, and in serving in the ministry.
    2. 1 Timothy 4:2, 1 John 4:4 Before we can become victorious in doing great things for God we need to start by becoming victorious in our personal lives! Lets surrender to God, make good decisions, become active in our faith and live victorious!!! #Victorious!


  1. What do you believe are some of the main reasons many youth and young adults struggle with remaining strong in their walk with God?
  2. What is a personal struggle that you have gone through that God has given you victory over?
  3. Is there an area in your personal live where you feel you are still struggling to be victorious? if so in what area are you struggling in your life right now?
  4. What are some steps that we need to take in our personal lives to become victorious over every attack of the devil and live victorious? Are you personally taking those steps in your life?


End: Pray for those who want to become victorious in their personal lives, also pray for those who need to accept Jesus or rededicate their lives, then take requests.
