“ Where are they going?

 

Intro: What is your favorite restaurant and why?

 

Study

  1. Genesis 3:8-12 God created Adam and Eve, blessed Adam and Eve in every way, provided everything they would ever need and then gave them instructions they were to obey.
    1. Gen 2:15-17 When we obey Gods instructions and remain in Gods will, then our lives are blessed in every way, but when we turn from God then we have many needless problems.
      1. 2 Cor 4:4, John 8:44 We live in a world of people who are lost, blind, and confused because of sin, they cannot see the truth because satan has blinded their minds.
      2. Matt 7:13-14 Many people give into the momentary pleasures of fornication, addiction, drugs, alcohol, lust, and end up bound, addicted, depressed, and hopeless.
    2. Matt 5:14, 1 Tim 4:1 The bible tells us that there are blind guides and doctrines of demons that also deceive people and pull them away from the truth of the gospel.
  2. John 8:12, John 14:6 Jesus is the way, truth, and the life, the only light, hope and salvation in this dark and lost world.
    1. Acts 4:12 When we accept Christ we find salvation, peace, hope, and joy and we can see clearly around the traps of satan and the dangers of sin that surround us.
      1. Matt 5:14, 2 Cor 5:20 God has called us as carriers of the light of Christ to invade the dark world around us with the gospel, if we invade the dark world around us with the light of Christ, then those in darkness can have a chance to find the light of Christ through us!
      2. Romans 10:13-15, Jude 1:23 Our purpose as Christians, and our purpose in this world is to pull others from the darkness and help them find Christ!
    2. Gen 3:9, Deut 30:9 God wants to use each of us to change the world around us, we need to be ready and willing to reach out to all who are around us in our familys, schools, and neighborhoods who don’t yet know Christ! Where are you?

  1. Can you give some examples of blind guides and doctrines of demons that are deceiving youth and young adults today and pulling them away from the truth of Christ?
  2. What are some things you can do to make sure you are not deceived by sin and pulled away from God?
  3. What are some of the reasons and excuses Christians give as to who they are not evangelizing and sharing Christ with others?
  4. What are some ways we as Christians can invade the darkness around us with the light of Christ? What are you personally doing to reach others with the gospel?
