  1. 1 Cor 5:20, Gen 3:9 In order for us to remain on fire for God, we must be active in evangelism and sharing Christ with those around us. Where are you? .
    1. Matt 28:18-20, Rom 10:13-15 The Bible tells us that we as Christians have the responsibility to evangelize and share Christ with others.
      1. Matt 25:19-26 One of the quickest ways for us to backslide and fall away from God is to remain quiet in our faith, reach out to no one, and do nothing.
      2. Matt 10:19-20, Mark 13:11 Many people are afraid to evangelize because they don’t feel they know what to say, or are afraid others won’t listen to them.
    2. Matt 5:14, Jude 1:23 Gods purpose for us as Christians is to use our talents and abilities to share Christ with the lost and invade this dark world with the light of Christ within us!
  2. 2 Tim 4:2, Acts 1:8 Evangelism is not difficult, it should be a very natural part of our every day lives! Below is the Crossfire five step plan of evangelism that can help you
    1. #1 Introduction: We need to introduce ourselves, and initiate a conversation.
    2. #2 Start a conversation: We should ask their names, and other questions, entering into a conversation about any topic.
    3. #3 Bring God into the conversation: We then need to bring God into the conversation, and share the message of salvation through Christ with them.
    4. #4. Salvation – The sinners prayer (Rom 10:9, 1 John 1:9) We should ask them if they want to accept Christ, if so, we need to have them repeat the sinners prayer: “I confess that im a sinner, I repent of my sins, Jesus I accept you as my Lord and savior, thank you for dying on the Cross for my sins and being my savior”.
    5. #5. Follow up: Get their contact information, and invite them to Church, and to your Crossfire Cell Groups, be sure to follow up with them within the next week

Discussion

  1. What are some of the greatest excuses youth and young adults give as to why they don’t evangelize and share Christ with others?
  2. Why is it essential for us to remain on fire for God that we evangelize and minister to others rather than remain silent and do nothing?
  3. Can you share a time when you personally led someone to Christ? What impact did this experience have in your life?
  4. Who are some people you know need to accept Christ? What is your plan to share Christ with them, and invite them to your church and cell group?

End: Pray for any who need to accept Christ or recommit their lives to Christ, Pray for any who need to overcome fear of evangelism, then take requests.
